After a few days of rain we woke to clear blue skies,
which prompted us to drive to Benimeli and walk up to the aerials.
This used to be a popular walk with the Monday Group, but
has been replaced by the longer Segaria walk.
We often do this walk on our own now. It takes about four hours, including quite a
steep climb to the aerials. We always
stop at this point for our banana stop, and to enjoy the views.
From the aerials there is a lovely level walk along the ridge, with view of the coast and mountains
There is a selection of picnic spots, depending on how
windy or hot the day might be. Today
was warm and not windy, so it was very comfortable eating our picnic and
enjoying the views of the coast
Its downhill all the way after lunch, to the bar in the square and two
ice cold drinks
